| Description | Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) invited freshman Republican Rep. Richard Hanna (N.Y.) to “switch parties” on Tuesday, following Hanna’s comments that the House Republican leadership is becoming “incapable of governing.”
Hanna spoke highly of his Democratic friends in Congress to the The Syracuse Post-Standard editorial board on Monday. He said Democrats are “much more congenial” and that Republicans are “angry.” |
