Description | As Nebraskans weigh whom to send to Washington as a U.S. senator, World-Herald humor columnist Brad Dickson asks the candidates the tough questions. Today, state Sen. Deb Fischer.
Question: You've pledged to serve only two six-year Senate terms, if elected. You're in favor of prohibiting retiring politicians from becoming lobbyists. Any concern that you're too ethical for the U.S. Senate?
Answer: I have traveled over 40,000 miles across the state and many of my fellow Nebraskans have that same concern. |
