[Jack]Conway drops out of race for [KY]Democratic chairman

Description | Louisville lawyer Jack Conway took his name out of consideration for state Democratic chairman yesterday, while Lexington lawyer Bill Garmer emerged as an alternative to former chairman Jerry Lundergan of Lexington.
Conway, the Democrats' 3rd District congressional candidate in 2002, said in an interview that he wants to help rebuild the Kentucky party but that the demands of the chairman's job would take too much time from his law practice.
