| Description | A southwestern Ontario NDP candidate raised the spectre of a coalition government after his decision to drop out of the federal election and throw his support behind his Liberal opponent reverberated nationally.
The NDP only learned that Ryan Dolby was ditching the race for Elgin-Middlesex-London through a news release he sent the media Wednesday, saying his pursuit of progressive support would only split votes between himself and the Liberal candidate, thus sending the local Conservative incumbent back to Parliament. |
