Tuesday, December 16, 2003 - Almost three-quarters of Tennessee voters approve of the job Gov. Phil Bredesen has done since he took office in January, according to a new statewide poll.
The survey of 400 registered and likely voters showed Gov. Bredesen with an excellent job-performance rating of 23 percent and good rating of 49 percent. Only 4 percent gave a poor rating, while 15 percent gave a fair rating.
The polling was conducted Dec. 4-8 for the Chattanooga Times Free Press by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc., of Washington, D.C. |
