DescriptionIn a CBS News/New York Times poll conducted after Saddam's arrest, 65 percent of Americans now say U.S. efforts to bring stability to Iraq are going well, up from 47 percent before his capture.

As for President Bush, there has been a double-digit rise in his rating on handling Iraq, and a six-point jump in his overall job approval rating, to 58 percent, his highest rating since last July.
