Description | Raleigh, N.C. – Voters in Arkansas’ 2nd Congressional District are down on Barack Obama and the health care plan passed by the House of Representatives last week, and that’s leaving seven term Congressman Vic Snyder open to his toughest fight for reelection yet next year.
55% of voters in the district, including 67% of independents, oppose the bill that Snyder voted for last weekend. Just 32% express support for it. Obama’s approval is 41% with 52% of voters disapproving of him. Snyder’s not much more popular, with a 42/46 spread. That has Snyder’s position looking pretty tenuous for 2010. |
