| Description | MONTGOMERY -- Alabama Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb said today she will not run for the Democratic nomination for governor and plans to remain chief justice.
Cobb said in a statement that she seriously considered running for governor, but added, ''I have been privileged to serve as chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court and plan to remain in this position.'' |
