| Description | KGMB9 has learned that Honolulu City Councilwoman Barbara Marshall has died. Marshall had been fighting colon cancer.
According to her husband, she passed away at 6:15 a.m. Hawaii time at a hospital in Newport Beach, Calif.
Her family was at her side when she passed away. The family says while they did expect it, they didn't expect it to happen so quickly.
