Description | COLUMBUS, Ohio— The Ohio Supreme Court will have the final say on how thousands of outstanding provisional votes in a tight congressional race will be counted.
The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati decided Tuesday that the state high court is the proper forum to decide the question.
Roughly 27,000 of the special ballots are still unopened in Franklin County, leaving in limbo the race in Ohio's 15th District between Republican state Sen. Steve Stivers and Democrat Mary Jo Kilroy. |
