DescriptionTroy police snagged the husband of U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow during a prostitution sting in February.

Tom Athans, the co-founder and former CEO of Democracy Radio and former executive vice president of Air America, was stopped Feb. 26 by undercover officers after leaving a room at the Residence Inn, The Detroit News reported today. Athans paid a 20-year-old prostitute $150 for oral sex, according to the police report. He was not arrested.
