Emeryville [CA] mayor strikes, kills pedestrian

| Description | EMERYVILLE, Calif. -- The mayor of Emeryville struck and killed a pedestrian in his own town.
The accident happened at about 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
Emeryville police spokesman Ferdinand Suba says mayor Ken Bukowski was driving on a rain-slicked road when the accident happened.
The incident is current under investigation as a traffic fatality. Suba says the mayor called authorities immediately and is cooperating fully with the investigation. |
