Description | Republican Jim Ogsbury said he plans an old-fashioned approach to running for the U.S. House against first-term Democrat Harry Mitchell in 2008.
Specifically, he plans to take a 1994-era approach to his campaign. For Ogsbury, that means dusting off the ’94 “Contract with America” ideals of limited government, limited spending, a strong national defense and personal liberty.
Ogsbury, 48, formally announced his intent to seek the office Saturday, making him the first of what could be a deep field of Republican candidates running for Arizona’s 5th Congressional District. |
