| Description | Orleans Parish District Attorney Eddie Jordan has had a tough week. After dropping multiple murder charges against suspect Michael Anderson, the DA now faces an investigation from the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, criticism from city leaders, and, perhaps his biggest challenge, a petition for a recall from the general public.
“I have no doubt that there is a group of very active and vocal people who will make their will known,” said Shelly Midura, New Orleans City Councilwoman (District A).
And many already have, exposed to online surveys and petitions, with titles such as ‘Eddie Jordan must resign’ and ‘Fire Jordan.’ |
