File photo of David Bond, the man who was accused of the murder of Hot 8 Brass Band drummer Dinneral Shavers.
Spokesman Dalton Savwoir said that the DA’s office had to drop the murder charges against 18-year-old David Bonds when the mother of the lone witness set to testify refused to let her daughter cooperate.
Bond was accused of shooting Hot 8 Brass Band drummer Dinerral Shavers on a CBD street while firing at a car that was carrying several people.
Savwoir said the single charge of second-degree murder and the three charges of attempted second-degree murder were dropped. |
