| Description | TALLAHASSEE -- Richard Corcoran chose Monday not to submit his qualifying papers for a special-election Senate seat that now is shaping up as a battle between two Republicans:Reps. Charlie Dean, R-Inverness, and Dennis Baxley, R-Ocala.
Corcoran had been trailing in polls taken in the race for the seat vacated by Nancy Argenziano, who now is the public-service commissioner. |
