Description | " Republicans will meet today to consider tapping controversial Camden Councilman Ali Sloan El to challenge state Sen. Wayne Bryant, D-Lawnside, in the 5th District senate race.
The GOP also may replace its Assembly candidates, Keith Carver and Ella Hilton, said Camden County GOP Chairwoman Gail Peterson.
As a candidate against the formidable Bryant, Sloan El would have distinct advantages and disadvantages over the GOP's current choice, Anthony DeMasi of Deptford."
