| Description | The Alaska Legislature tackled some big and, at times, polarizing topics over the past two years.
Among the biggest were a switch to new retirement system for incoming public employees and teachers and an overhaul of the state’s oil taxes.
Incumbent Rep. Mike Kelly was vocally involved in both changes, which drew heavy debate and, after approval, a fair amount of disdain from Democrats. |
