God Is Against Raising The Minimum Wage [CO Amendment 42]

| Description | Finally someone has taken my advise on the issue of raising the minimum wage: make it a religious issue!
God (and of course Jesus too, but you should know that they are really one in the same) are completely against raising the minimum wage of course.
It's "God helps those who help themselves" remember? It isn't "God helps those who didn't go to college to earn enough money to buy food and shelter." Food and shelter are not guaranteed to anyone any more than my Infiniti sports car was "guaranteed" to me. You have to make it happen, you have to help yourself (get a real job) and then go will help you (to put food on the table).
The Republicans in Colorado picked up on my idea and have started running ads featuring a discussion between God and Moses over the upcoming, evil, Prop 42, which would raise the minimum wage in Colorado (as if anyone really needs more than 5.15 an hour). |
