| Description | Sen. Bob Smith and Rep. John Sununu tangled on issues including prescription drugs and free trade on Monday in a debate that occurred less than a month before the Republican primary in the race for Smith's Senate seat.
Sununu and Smith are nearly tied in the polls in the closely watched race. Some polls show that Sununu is more likely than Smith to defeat Democratic Gov. Jeanne Shaheen in the general election. Shaheen does not have a primary opponent. |
