| Description | "CINNAMINSON - Burlington County Sheriff Jean Stanfield and political newcomer Mike Savala have been named replacement candidates for state Assembly on the 7th District Republican slate.
That decision was made last night by more than 100 Republicans who attended a special candidate-selection convention at Riverton Country Club.
Stanfield, a Westampton resident, has spent the last two years in Mount Holly serving as the county's first female sheriff.
Savala, a Navy veteran and longtime Delran resident, is an engineering contractor who is stepping into politics for the first time."
