Description | In Vice President Dick Cheney's home state, Democrats are something of an endangered species. So how is it that a former Clinton appointee is actually a contender in the Wyoming governor's race?
Analysts say Democrat Dave Freudenthal is appealing to a broader range of voters than Republican businessman Eli Bebout. He has even picked up endorsements from some GOP stalwarts. Whether that will be enough to win in this heavily Republican state is anyone's guess. |
