DescriptionAsbury Park Press article.

An excerpt...
"Twelve lawmakers are calling for Attorney General Zulima "Protect The Guilty" Farber's impeachment, an expensive undertaking, especially since Gov. Corzine and the Legislature just raised our sales tax 16.7 percent, hiked other taxes and fees and loaded the budget with enough special interest pork to choke a horse.

Farber should just quit and apologize for making New Jersey a laughing stock again.

Assemblyman John Rooney and Assemblywoman Charlotte Vandervalk, joined by 10 colleagues, renewed their impeachment call after new reports Farber's live-in boyfriend, Hamlet Goore, had his driver's privileges restored less than an hour after he got tickets for driving with a suspended license and operating an unlicensed vehicle.

Those citations magically disappeared after Goore told the cop his girlfriend was the attorney general and not long after she showed up at the scene with emergency lights flashing in an unmarked SUV driven by a state trooper.

About an hour after the tickets were written, according to published reports, a state Motor Vehicle Commission employee restored Goore's driving privileges after a mere phone call to the MVC and a check of state court system files. (They made you produce a court receipt in person at a MVC office.)

"... It is not unprecedented for agency employees to correct inaccuracies in motorists' driving records over the phone," spokeswoman Sandy Grossman said. Next time you want your license restored quickly and without hassle, call Grossman and remind her she said that."
