Description | State Sen. Carolyn Allen, R-Scottsdale, doesn't hesitate to say what other people might think but dare not say. Case in point: She predicts that religious bigotry will hurt Senate President Ken Bennett if he runs for governor. Allen said it quietly helped doom Matt Salmon in 2002. "I think that a lot of the Christian community will not support a Mormon," she said. |
