Description | Former Montana Gov. Marc Racicot, a confidant of President Bush who chaired the Bush-Cheney re-election committee, will be the next president of the American Insurance Association, the group announced Monday.
The association, headquartered in Washington, D.C., represents more than 435 property and casualty insurance companies that write more than $120 billion in annual premiums. The National Journal recently called AIA "one of the biggest players in corporate Washington."
