Description | Archbishop Alfred Hughes made the right decision in declining to attend the Loyola commencement at which Moon Landrieu and his family were honored.
Had Hughes showed up, the audience might have concluded that evil was being condoned.
It just wouldn't have been fair to make such a highly respected political family as the Landrieus share a stage with one of the Catholic hierarchy's reprobates. Good on Hughes for sparing them the embarrassment.
