Description | With 52 per cent of the vote counted, the Labor Party appears poised for victory in the Western Australian election.
Labor has won 29 seats and the Liberals 17, with the ABC's election computer predicting an overall total of 32 seats for the Government.
Health Minister and Attorney-General Jim McGinty says Labor's apparent victory in Western Australia has been one of the greatest political comebacks of all time.
He says it appears Labor will be one seat down on where they were in the last parliament.
"To come back from where we were before Christmas is just unbelievable," he said.
"Before Christmas we were gone for all money." |
