Description | "TRENTON -- Two Republican lawmakers who shared a campaign fund voided a $100 check to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, then tapped the same account for $800 spent at a liquor store outside Atlantic City, their campaign finance documents show.
According to reports filed with the Election Law Enforcement Commission, they reported the purchase as "supplies."
One of the politicians, Assemblyman Francis Blee, R-Atlantic, divorced himself from the issue Tuesday, insisting the paperwork had been created by a former colleague, recently resigned Assemblyman Paul D'Amato, R-Atlantic."
