| Description | Popular New Jersey Assemblyman Paul D'Amato has submitted his letter of resignation, from the New Jersey General Assembly today.
Assemblyman D'Amato's resignation is effective this Friday, May 18, 2003.
D'Amato's departure will allow the Republican Party to appoint Freeholder Board Chairman Kirk Conover to the position.
