Description | Green challenger enters Colorado Congressional race against Musgrave
Fort Collins Coloradoan
Bob Kinsey, a former Democrat and history teacher said he wants every Democrat to support his bid to unseat incumbent Rep. Marilyn Musgrave from the 4th Congressional District. Running as a Green Party candidate, Kinsey said he decided to run for the Colorado congressional seat after he noticed no challenger to Musgrave in the upcoming election. Since that time he has spent the last three months working with the Green Party to formulate a campaign platform. Kinsey believes Musgraves attention is not focused in the right places for the needs of Coloradoans. I dont see that Musgrave is focused on issues of sustainability in terms of agriculture and the environment, he said. America is the land where the voters have a choice of candidates with many different viewpoints when they consider who they want to represent them in the political arena, said Guy Short, Musgraves chief of staff. |
