As someone with access to MD Voter Registration rolls, I see no judges on them. I believe they are scraped from the list.

BrentinCO: Wow. You have to deal with a lot of crap for a hobby site.

Yeah, I say that to myself a lot. But usually add "expensive".

I went through the names listed on this "Judges currently serving in the state of Maryland" PDF [Link] and only found two other names with home addresses (which I just deleted just in case). Most of the candidates in here who are Maryland Judges were State's Attorneys.

Hey Everyone,

If anyone is bored and would like some site building to do, I saw races in the To-Do folders (Uncalled, Uncertified, and NRC) include races from a variety of places: Illinois, New Jersey, Mexico, and overseas. If you have knowledge about any of those races, we can chip away at those past races during the US political "offseason" and before we start adding 2022 US races/maps.

I'm currently working on the Canada races, but will try to clear up the international races in places that I know (will leave Mexico races to the experts).

Thanks to everyone for contributing from and about your spots on the map!

I’m working on some municipal results in Sussex County, New Jersey.

Been meaning to input certified results for the primary here in King County - maybe today I'll finally get to it! :)))

RP did you update the buttons on the website? They all appear blue and rounded now...or maybe its the IOS15 upgrade. Oh my so many changes.

D:1RP ( 5618.82 points)September 22, 2021 08:12am
Nope. Probably the IOS upgrade.

Joker:9757BrentinCO ( 9683.07 points)September 22, 2021 09:26am
Yeh its definitely the iOS upgrade. On PC its normal.

Currently having issues logging in on my desktop (got logged out this AM), but my tablet is fine. Cleared my cache, but wanted to raise this in case others were having similar issues.

Darn, still having issues logging in on my desktop and my phone (but not on my tablet or old laptop). Weird situation (and also a bit whiny talking about a smorgasbord of devices), but I hope it sorts itself out. Also hope it's an isolated situation.

Did your privacy settings change to block cookies?

Got it fixed. Fidgeted with my password and it seems to have worked.

Thanks, RP, for answering my question in a courteous and timely manner. You can count on me for all 10's.

So, as an often asked question, what do people think about the site going to a white background instead of blue?

I:6738IndyGeorgia ( 4590.47 points)October 06, 2021 07:05pm
You'll certainly send Election Twitter into a frenzy. Sounds like a fine change. Do you have any other style changes in mind?

Joker:9757BrentinCO ( 9683.07 points)October 06, 2021 07:31pm
Hmmm. Surprisingly, being an opinionated person, I really don't have a strong opinion about background color.

I guess the main benefit of going to white would be readability and to solve the few minor issues with text color?

If that is the reason, thumbs up from me.

Also, to whomever added the "S" and "A" to Special Election winners & Appointed office holders, THANK YOU! Great at-a-glance distinction :))

D:1RP ( 5618.82 points)October 07, 2021 04:06am
Really, the main reason is that the site gets a lot of criticism for being like GeoCities or MySpace and outdated style because of the color. I actually like th ability to go dark or light on it, but higher contrast is an advantage for readability. It probably won't happen right away.

As I'm the only programmer of the site, that was me. :) Haven't entered it in to the site programming changes yet because I'm thinking of picking and using icons instead - likely from the Font Awesome set.

D:1RP ( 5618.82 points)October 07, 2021 04:13am
Icon suggestions would be welcome as well. [Link]

Possibly calendar-xmark for special election?

D:10358Charlotte KAP ( 183.67 points)October 07, 2021 12:47pm
I would suggest making it in such a way that containers with more than one "S" and "A" have them all align, not just flush with the voting percentage. Maybe in its own column?

Blue is better.

Joker:9757BrentinCO ( 9683.07 points)October 10, 2021 11:33am
Not an issue....but if anyone needs a container, this one needs to be recycled.

Los Alamos needs to be different and unlike any other county in New Mexico. No Treasurer. I can't find anything immediately.

I:6738IndyGeorgia ( 4590.47 points)October 11, 2021 12:38pm
Someone added "Libertarian" as an ethnicity. Ummm.....

D:1989RBH ( 5686.17 points)October 11, 2021 03:32pm
and I don't think that tag has been used for anybody

as for Los Alamos, the county is made up of nuclear engineers, they don't need a separate treasurer
