| Description | Named Charlotte-Campobello from 1994 to 2016.
This district, in the southwest corner of the province, contains the electoral district of Western Charlotte, minus the areas of Leverville and Honeydale, which have been transferred to the electoral district of Charlotte-The Isles. Campobello Island, formerly of Fundy Isles, is also now part of the district, which has a total population is 13,918. The district contains the resort town of St. Andrews, where tourism is a major contributor to the economy. It also includes the town of St. Stephen on the U.S. border. Forestry is the major industry.
The district includes the towns of St. Andrews, St. Stephen; St James, St Croix, Dufferin, St. Stephen, St. David and St. Andrews parishes. |
