| Description | Lower Mainland riding, located at the mouth of Fraser River, contains the SW part of Richmond.
The riding runs between Blundell Road in the north and Fraser River in the south; between the Strait of Georgia in the west and Garden City Road/Francis Road/Number 3 Road in the east.
Steveston Island and Woodward Islands are in the riding.
In the 2006 census, the immigrant population was 48%; 31% gave Chinese as their mother tongue.
The visible minority population was 53%; 36% of which was Chinese.
In the 2008 redistribution, kept 100% of the riding; added 4% of Richmond East. |
