| Description | Diamond Star, Arizona is a newly incorporated community about four miles east of Payson.
It was formed in November, 2005 under Arizona law by the action of a majority of the residents of two communities, Star Valley and Diamond Point, in response to an attempted "water-grab" by the Town of Payson.
In 2006, the town changed its name to Star Valley. |
