| Description | This riding is in the extreme SW corner of the province. Economy is based on agriculture, cattle ranching, and major oil and gas production. Riding contains the Great Sand Hills in its northern areas, Cypress Hills provincial park and Fort Walsh National Historic Park. The skeletal remains of a Tyrannosaurus Rex were found near Eastend, providing a major tourist boost to the local economy.
Major communities include Maple Creek, Gull Lake, and Eastend. |
