| Description | Province in Southwestern Finland known as the center of three provinces which once made up historical Ostrobothnia (Ostrobothnia, South Ostrobothnia and Central Ostrobothnia). Province is dominated by Finno-Swedes and had been monolingually Swedish-speaking for centuries until recent times. Province is referred to as the Finnish "Pampas" due to its flatness.
