| Description | 36-seat Upper House of the bicameral Plurinational Legislative Assembly of Bolivia (or Asamblea Legislativa Plurinacional). All members directly elected via proportional representation. Each of the nine Bolivian states elects four Senators. Members serve 5-year terms.
Both houses of Parliament overturned by unanimous consent the October 20, 2019 election results for each chamber on November 23, 2019 declaring all members be unseated pending results of a new election to be held in 2020. |
