Info | Luther Strange is an attorney and founder of Strange LLC, a law firm based in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to founding Strange LLC, he was a partner with the law firm of Bradley Arant Rose & White.
Mr. Strange is regarded as one of Alabama’s leading lawyers. He frequently advises client on economic development matters. His experience includes incentive negotiations for the $1 billion Hyundai automotive plant in Montgomery, Alabama and the $80 million Hudson-Alpha Biotech Research Institute in Huntsville, Alabama.
He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyer’s in America, named Best of the Bar by the Birmingham Business Journal and recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in Alabama by Birmingham Magazine. His firm has been named on of the Top Ten Law firms that Understand Economic Development by Southern Business & Development Magazine (Winter 2008).
He is a graduate of Tulane University where he was a scholarship basketball player. He received his law degree from Tulane Law School. In the year between college and law school, Mr. Strange worked in the Merchant Marine in the North Sea. He is an Eagle Scout and Rotarian. Long active in civic and political affairs, Mr. Strange was the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor of Alabama in 2006.
