Info | John-Henry Harter is a History instructor at the University College of the Fraser Valley. He and his wife Lee-Anne have four children that range in age from 16 to 6 years of age.
John-Henry worked for years before entering post-secondary. As a mature student he graduated with distinction from the University of Victoria with a BA in history and minor in Film Studies. He pursued his MA at SFU and is a PhD candidate at SFU with a focus on Labour History and Environmental History. He has been the research coordinator for the Centre for Labour Studies at SFU and is currently pursuing a career as a history professor. John-Henry has much experience as elected representative in both the Labour and Student movement. He is currently employed teaching Canadian History at UCFV and Labour Studies at SFU. He held a SSHRC doctoral scholarship for a two-year term for his research on the history of workers as environmentalists.
