Past Pres. of Southampton Kiwanis
Bd. of Dir. of American Red Cross
Deerfield Neuro Rehabilitation Center
Kiwanis
Committed to reforming government and reducing spending.
ISSUES STATEMENT:
1) Term limits
2) Campaign finance reform
3) PAC elimination
4) Line-item veto
5) Balanced budget amendment
6) Reduce the size of government
7) Tax reform.
While health care, welfare reform, and crime control are all very important, nothing will be accomplished until we get Career Politicians and the influence of PAC cash contributions out of the debate. Politics has become an occupation; it must be brought back to public service. The highest bidding PAC can no longer determine government policy.
In her 1994 campaign for the US Senate, Blough had a low-tax platform. She called for removal of restrictions on abortions and no additional limits on gun ownership [Philadelphia Inquirer, 11/4/1994].
