Originally emanating from the Construction Industry, and worked for the Department of the Environment/Property Services Agency. Strong interest in Trade Unions and subsequently employed by the Transport and General Workers Union (TGWU/ACTS) to deal with industrial relations in Gibraltar.
Political
Keen interest in politics and joined the Gibraltar Social Democrats (GSD) in 1995. The GSD were elected into Government in 1996 and 2000. In the first term of office, served as the Employment and Building & Works Minister, and in the second term, serving as the Housing and Building & Works Minister, being therefore, an elected member of the Gibraltar House of Assembly.
