I genuinely care about our community, I want my grandchildren and yours, to be optimistic about their future. I understand the challenges we’re facing, I have run a successful family business in Macclesfield for over 40 years and have lived here all of my working life. I have the skills, ideas and the enthusiasm to serve this market town which is loved by its residents but neglected by its region.
Since early spring I have been working to bring the community together to prevent the closure of our local recycling centres. I have organised meetings with the public, local East Cheshire Councillors and the deputy council leader. The plan to close the centres on April 1st was dropped but the battle is not won. I will move heaven and earth to ensure that good sense prevails and the much valued sites remain permanently open.
Trust me to work tirelessly on your behalf, to scrutinise and oppose the policies that don’t serve our interests and to offer a vision that will lead to a more prosperous future.
