For over 15 years, I have been privileged to serve our community through my award-winning optical practice and my community work. This has given me a unique perspective on our city’s challenges and opportunities. I have witnessed firsthand the struggles of hard-working individuals and families as they try to make ends meet in the face of a rising cost of living. I have seen the strain on our NHS as it copes with increasing demand and limited resources. I have watched local businesses, our economy’s backbone, struggle to survive in an increasingly competitive market. I have seen the impact of neglect on our environment as we fail to take the necessary steps to protect and preserve it for future generations. But I also believe that Leicester South is a city of immense potential. We are a diverse and vibrant community, rich in culture and history. We have a strong sense of community spirit and a willingness to work together to overcome challenges. I believe that by harnessing these strengths and working together, we can build a brighter future for our city.
