InfoAn honest alternative to a broken status quo Raised in Suffolk/West Suffolk from age ten, Katie has dedicated her adult life to her community and her family.

After becoming a town councillor in 2019, Katie has been actively taking action.

Katie established baby banks, fought to ensure children were fed during school holidays, and assisted vulnerable local residents during Covid.

Like many people, Katie does not believe in party candidates who have not lived locally and therefore don’t understand the needs of the local people. As an independent candidate, Katie’s only obligation will be to serve the best interests of the people of West Suffolk

Having grown up on a council estate and battled addiction, Katie’s perseverance and determination have seen her enter a rehabilitation centre in 2004 and then continue to rebuilt her life. She has built a career working in local drug services, rehabilitation centres and local domestic abuse services and is a well respected member of the community.

Katie understands the genuine problems and concerns facing the residents of West Suffolk, particularly the difficulties of living in a rural community. By electing a truly independent local politician, we can avoid putting another person in power who prioritises their own narrow party politics over the people they’re meant to serve.

Katie's unrelenting dedication to her community is crucial as she understands the specific issues and concerns of West Suffolk residents.
