| Info | Marcia Carroll is a lifetime community and social activist passionate about social justice and equity issues. Marcia is proud to have dedicated her life and career to the service of our community and improving the quality of life of all Islanders, particularly those in equity-deserving groups.
As an executive and community developer, Marcia’s career has seen her work as a Marketing Coordinator and Program Manager of the Women’s Network PEI, as a Regional Director for the Red Cross, as Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club, and as the dedicated and long-time Executive Director of the PEI Council of People with Disabilities- now known as ResourceAbilities.
Marcia’s dedication to community service extends well beyond her career. As a passionate volunteer, Marcia has spent her adult life serving as a Committee Member of the PEI Working Group for Livable Income, a Committee Member of the PEI Public Transit Coalition, and the Chair of the Disability Action Council.
Born and raised in Charlottetown, Marcia is a proud UPEI and Holland College graduate.
On weekends, Marcia loves taking her dog for long walks.
Marcia believes that her experience in serving Islanders provides her with a strong foundation to serve the residents of District 11.
