Info | Scott grew up in Twin Mountain, NH and attended Whitefield Elementary and graduated from White Mountain Regional High School in in 1987.
As a youth, Scott always worked hard at local attractions, his first job was a dishwasher in 1979 in a local Twin Mountain restaurant. In high school he worked at the Mt Washington Hotel and the Mt Washington Cog Railway until he graduated. Scott was always community minded and participated in local events and always ready to help out a neighbor.
After high school, Scott wanted to explore the country with the love of his life, Maria Dustin. Together they moved to Florida then on to California where they both worked in the hospitality industry. Missing the mountains a few years later, they both moved back to NH in 1994 where Scott began his career at the famous Woodstock Inn as bartender. Wanting to advance his career in hospitality, while still working full time, Scott attended Plymouth College full-time and graduated in three years with a Marketing degree in 2003 and received the non-traditional student of the year award.
Scott and Maria married at the beautiful Profile Lake in Franconia Notch in 2002 and have two children, Rachel and Scott, who attend Whitefield schools. Scott is an active parent and often volunteers to help out with school projects and coached soccer for many years.
Many people know Scott as "Scottie the Bartender" at the Woodstock Inn in North Woodstock, NH or the bar manager at Cannon Mountain Ski Area. He enjoys greeting visitors and making people feel at home where ever they are. He always has a smile and is ready to hear your story! Scott was voted Bartender of the Year by NH Magazine in 2018.
Being community minded and passionate about the challenges our country is facing today, Scott believes his community spirit and small town values would help in the US congress. He works hard and is ready to work for all of us to make New Hampshire stronger, safer and prosperous for all!
