| Info | My name is Peter Beimers and I’m your candidate for the New Blue Party for Kitchener Centre. I have been married to my wife Jennifer for 27 years and we have 3 daughters, 1 son and a daughter-in-law. I grew up in Cambridge before going to Reformed Bible College in Grand Rapids, Michigan (where I also met my wife). After graduating from RBC, with an eye to church ministry, I entered Calvin Theological Seminary. Four years later I graduated with a Masters's Degree, however, not being able to find a church to be placed with, I entered the workforce getting a job at a steel shop in Cambridge. I worked there for 3 years before working for a moving company out of Guelph. Unfortunately, it seemed to be a summer when very few people were moving and I was unemployed for 10 months. I was able to secure an AZ truck driving licence and have been driving a truck since December 2004. There was a brief 10-month stint 5 years ago when I was the Interim Pastor at a church in Wellandport while their minister continued to recover from an auto accident. When we can, my wife and I like to watch tv together with our evening coffee. Every week we look forward to worshiping with our church family at Trinity Bible Chapel.
