| Info | Mark grew up in South East Oakville. He attended Oakville Trafalgar High School and played football, rugby and tennis. He received his post-secondary education from Carleton University and Algonquin college to become a chef apprentice. Mark now owns his family business at JPlatt Rugs located in downtown Oakville. As a small business owner, Mark brings common sense to the table, realizing that seems to be very lacking in today's government. As a father of 2 teenagers, he understands that decisions made today affect our children tomorrow. Mark will work hard for a brighter future for the people of Oakville.
