| Info | I was the Democratic Nominee for Congress in OH2 in 2022, receiving 72% of the primary vote. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services. I am a former Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Membership Manager, Corrections Case Manager, EMT-I, and AmeriCorps Member. I volunteered for the John Kerry Presidential Campaign in 2004. In my spare time, I volunteer as an End of Life Companion.
I am running for Congress because I want to make a positive difference in the lives of lower and middle class Americans. As a lifelong rural Southern Ohioan, I intimately know the complex issues of the region. Although challenges abound for us, there is hope for a better tomorrow. We are strong, resilient folks but we need attention in rural America. I am a Rural Advocate who will carry our voices to Washington, DC.
My commitment to rural Americans is proven through my campaign style. I go directly to the people. I travel to all 15 counties and talk to folks about kitchen table issues. My votes will be based on the will of the people of the district. I will always come back to OH2 to listen to constituents. As a supporter of unionization, I believe good paying jobs must be brought back to the district. Economic stability and growth will help diminish poverty, assist in ending the opioid epidemic, and provide the opportunity to retire with dignity.
I am uniquely qualified to represent OH2. My experiences, rural outreach, relationship building, and rural advocacy position me to initiate a rural revival in Congress.
