| Info | Dean lives in Campbellville with his wife Mary, and their four children: Kristen, Jill, Josh, and Reese, and Mocha the chocolate Lab. Dean and the entire Martin family are active in the community, including attending local schools.
Dean's passion to be Halton's M.P. is driven by his desire to see his children inherit a country that is rich in opportunity, creative in its approach to government, relentless in the pursuit of excellence with integrity, and once again proud of its honoured and respected place in the world.
Dean is owner and chairman of Melmart Distributors, a growing wholesale flooring distributor, doing business in Ontario and Quebec, employing 60 people, and operating out of a 90,000 square foot facility in Mississauga.
In addition to dedicating time to his marriage, family, and business, Dean was the founding President of an international charity supporting a youth drop-in centre in Cambridge, and the development of a major relief project in Malawi, Africa.
